Max,

Really nice job!  The tone and balance of the bass, harmony, and melody is right on.  I wish I could have seen your right hand.  I'm really good at critiquing technique.  It sounds like you either are doing the rest strokes right or are really good at dynamics on your free strokes.  The only nit with technique with the left hand is that your thumb should always be behind wherever your middle finger is on the fretboard.  You should never see your thumb over the top of the neck.  I know that's a small nit but you did mention you wanted my suggestions!

Now, admitedly the sound is what matters and it sounds great.  But the technique is developed for a reason.  On this slow emotional song it wouldn't matter but on a fast Bach or Spanish tune the balance you get from keeping your thumb as I said is invaluable to being able to get to the next position quickly and solidly.  It just makes it easier for you to get the great sound you are getting!

Thanks Mikey!! yeah I am all thumbs haha...I guess it is the one bad habit I cannot seem to get rid of but I will keep it in mind. I thought it might have been played too fast but I saw some other players and they seem to have upped the tempo on it as well as otherwise it seems to lag a bit. Of course most importantly is the feel in the end though. Again thank you!!
